Balinese Ubud cooking school (9 Dish Cooking and Market Tour) - Rice Paddies and the Subak Connection: Beyond a Photo Stop

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 540 reviews · from $58Our pick

Ubud cooking class with market and rice paddies. Learn nine Balinese dishes, cook with local chefs, eat a big lunch, take recipes home.

“We really enjoyed the whole experience. The market was entertaining and an eye opener. The rice filed was lovely but the highlight was as the cookery school itself. Very enjoyable and informative and a really good lunch at the end of it. The only stopping it being 5 stars was our transfer from Nusa Dua. The driver was, even by Balinese standards, a bit scary and on the way back he offered to take us on the toll road but said we’d have to pay idr 15,000 even though when we got there it was 14,000 and then he didn’t have the right change so we ended up paying 20,000.”
